Carrier Alerts: CanPar, DHL & UPSUpdated 5 months ago

At Born Primitive, we work with trusted shipping partners to get your orders to you as quickly and safely as possible. Occasionally, carriers may issue alerts that can affect transit times. Understanding these alerts can help set expectations for delivery.

What Are Carrier Alerts?
Carrier alerts are notifications issued by shipping carriers such as CanPar, DHL, and UPS. These alerts can indicate delays due to:

  • Severe weather

  • High package volume during peak seasons

  • Transportation or logistical disruptions

  • Customs clearance delays (for international shipments)

How Carrier Alerts Affect Your Order:
When a carrier issues an alert, your package may experience:

  • Extended transit times

  • Delays in scanning updates

  • Temporary rerouting of shipments

Important Notes:

  • We can only see the same shipping updates that the carrier provides.

  • Once a package leaves our warehouse, we cannot alter the package, shipping address, or route.

  • If you wish to request a change or investigate further, you are welcome to contact the carrier directly using your tracking number to see if alteration is possible.
