Born Primitive products are designed with performance, mobility, and comfort in mind. Fit may vary compared to other brands because our garments and footwear are developed with specific movement patterns and use cases in mind.

When comparing sizing to other brands:

• Apparel: If you are familiar with athletic brands, keep in mind that sizing can vary significantly between brands due to differences in cut, fabric stretch, intended fit, and garment construction. We recommend using our size charts and product fit notes rather than assuming your usual size from another brand will translate exactly.
• Tactical & outdoor apparel: Many of our pants and gear are designed with mobility-focused features such as stretch materials, articulated construction, and gusseted designs to allow a greater range of movement compared to traditional rigid-fit garments.
• Footwear: Our shoes are designed with a naturally wider toe box to support comfortable toe splay and natural foot movement. Customers coming from traditional athletic shoes with a narrower toe box may notice additional room in the front of the shoe. If you prefer a more traditional snug athletic shoe feel, sizing adjustments may be preferred.
